Man Must dominate nature? Contributed by Paul

I prefer to ask the question another way:
Humanity Can dominate Nature?
Getting equation, with H = N = Humanity and Nature, there is a choice between:
H> N? H
< N ?
H = N?
In my case the answer is:
H + N = ∞
other words, when Humanity joins forces to Nature, the result is infinite and enduring.
humans (Homo sapiens sapiens) can not dominate nature more than man (vir) could dominate the Woman, despite all his attempts to oppression. And as man is nothing without the woman is nothing without the human nature.
The challenge facing our species is not to dominate nature (domination eventually generate a revolution) or even the tame, but to tame, requiring love and respect.
However, respect and love a woman, for me it is not looking at her languidly or even less of her, but she is to join in a mutual desire and pleasure, to live together in harmony to produce offspring. Similarly, respect and love nature is listen, look, the smell, touch, feel, caress, to generate it with a more serene, more productive and peaceful. For nature, left to itself, can be very cruel.
course, as in the pairs there will be thunderstorms, lightning, storms, clashes, misunderstandings, but everyone knows that after the rain comes fair weather, that is to say reconciliation.
But like the man should not be a slave to the woman nor the woman the slave of man, the human should not be a slave to Nature and it should not be a slave to that one.
In the Judeo-Christian nature belongs to humans, while in the animist cultures of human nature and belongs to the Hindus than among humans and nature are one. Depending on circumstances the humanity-nature relationship is more or less distant from the master / slave relationship.
Do not claim to be the master of nature, this means that we must not impose our every whim without regard to their reactions, possibilities of assimilation, adaptation, repair.
Do not be a slave to nature means we shape it to meet its requirement of power lines, which can develop it; derive their livelihood and their habitat by keeping the exhaust, cultivate, manage it.
But do any attempt to fight nature, because it will always win by backlash or patience. We must not lose sight that Nature has millions of years, even billions of years at his disposal, while we humans, we have only a few thousand years as a species and maximum of one hundred years as individuals. And, if we can take resources from the wild, it can be if sampling is less than the capacity of regeneration and if we are able to rejoin the natural cycle of the waste we produce.
We have around us many examples of joint creations of Humanity and Nature, for example:
- A forest grows all the better she will be cultivated instead of being neglected ;
- The islet in the lake of Diana, consisting of piles of oyster shells discarded deck on vessels Corsican Oysters exporting to Lazio was colonized by vegetation and wildlife, and it has now become a natural element with a balanced ecosystem;
- Water mills that produced wheat flour or chestnut and olive oil that we have not disrupted the fed fish in our rivers;
- The humus collected in the undergrowth of heather has enriched our gardens without destroying the undergrowth;
- Windmills of the Cap Corse , Balagne and Bonifacio have not changed the climate of Corsica but produces energy to grind wheat
- The chestnut tree that fed us were planted by humans and created new forests that have nothing to envy to the forests of oaks background, let alone in the bush;
- photovoltaic farms, if they are installed on land without agricultural production capacity can be fully integrated into the natural environment;
- The lakes and ponds have been colonized by migratory and sedentary birds and fish that have established their niche;
- If we had not captured the underground water sources, water trapped in the rock holes, we would not have survived, but one must also take care to protect the purity of these resources;
- Etc.
For some achievements cons who believe, disregard of nature have resulted in damage:
- Road construction on embankment parallel to the coastline and marshy flood plains made of old housing areas or grazing or horticulture (example: Taravo plain, plain Sagone, etc.).
- The sealing of soils in urban areas caused flooding;
- Forest fires that have private sloping areas of natural protection have caused floods or landslides devastating;
- Over-tourists to some sites has led to a trampling weakening the root system of trees and discharges of wastes not assimilated by the natural environment ;
- The stone quarries not rehabilitated upon closure constitute a danger to humans and livestock;
- Emissions of sulfur and various particles (forgotten or deliberately obscured by some makers) of heavy oil plants are a violation Serious health of plant, animal and human, which are integral part of Nature.
- Etc.
must therefore change our relationship with nature, do not try to dominate, but to seduce and be seduced by it, as in a romantic relationship.
