Tarak Mehta Babita's Wallpaper

Hujara

It took me a beautiful afternoon at the Rencontres d'Arles Photographic to rediscover the intense work of Peter Hujara. I already knew some of these photographs. Including the magnificent portrait of Candy Darling on her deathbed, which was lavishly illustrated album of Anthony and the Johnsons ( I am a bird now ). And today, I could immerse myself again in this work disturbing, moving, complex and cruel. Photos to the raw beauty and uncompromising. A look full of lucidity of his time and his injuries. It has been the photographer of the marginalized, the excluded, the company gay street, the ghetto and loneliness. Just witness the world around him. The sensitivity and genius more.
